Please note that starting in September, we will make some changes to our Wednesday and Saturday schedules. A couple of classes will be cancelled and the content of one class will change. Also, please note that Chae Hirano’s Yogalates class will resume on August 24.
Starting September 12, our current Yin and Restorative classes will be replaced with one class: Stretch, Breathe and Restore, co-taught by Michael and Kaori, from 7:00-8:30 p.m. Incorporating seated asanas, hip-focused stretching, pranayama and restorative postures, this class is a wonderful way to both relax and open the body and mind. Suitable for all levels of students.
• Starting September 1, all Saturday classes will start 30 minutes later.
• Maneesh’s Ashtanga class will become Ashtanga Sama Vinyasa Yoga. While still based on the “centering” principles of Ashtanga vinyasa yoga taught by Chuck Miller and Maty Ezraty, this all-levels class has an open approach to pacing and sequences. It is designed to strengthen the focus and skills of everyone from beginners to experienced intermediate students.
