Functional movement is a growing trend in the fitness world. Many movement classes have multi-disciplinary influences, including yoga, martial arts and gymnastics. Some approaches center on bodyweight exercises, while other approaches incorporate weights, bands and other tools.
Michael’s “core strength and functional movement” classes integrate hatha yoga postures, vinyasa yoga, animal movement and training methods used in gymnastics to improve your mobility, balance and coordination.
The classes will have different content. You are welcome to attend either one of the classes, or both.
Classes will be taught mainly in English with some Japanese translation.
