The Roots of Yoga Asana
with Michael Glenn & Dominica Serigano

Yoga asana is built on a handful of principles. Once you understand them, you can apply those principles to every asana as you build your practice and discover new strength and abilities. Over two sessions, you will learn some of the core principles of asana and how to apply them in postures that are the foundation of a healthy and lasting yoga practice.
This 2-session intensive is for all levels of students. It’s also a great way for yoga teachers and experienced practitioners to review and deepen their understanding of asana. The morning session with Michael will center on the key actions leading to backbends; the afternoon session with Dominica will center on the key actions leading to twists and forward extensions.
No matter your age and whatever your background, your practice will flourish from a journey to the roots.
Classes may be attended as a pair or individually.
NOTE: Please bring your own yoga belt(s) and large towel to cover the props. Studio yoga mats, blocks and blankets available for use.
