Pranayama, a traditional Hatha Yoga practice centered on controlled breathing, promotes both physical and mental well-being. The term Breathwork refers to modern practices based on Pranayama. • Heightens concentration, clarity and ease of mind • Awakens and energizes while stimulating calmness and relaxation • Gateway to meditation in classical yoga Class structure • 8:00 - 8:10: Introduction and general instructions with Q&A time • 8:10 - 8:30: Pranayama & Meditation • Limited to 15 students per class • Recommended props: Yoga blankets, meditation cushion, Zabuto, or something similar for sitting. Depending on your ability to sit comfortably for mediation, you may find sitting with your back against a wall helpful.
